I did it -- I gave up my Zero Sugar Dr. Pepper addiction. People at work would call me a junkie (jokingly) because I once opened the back of my vehicle to put my newly purchased cases of Dr.PZ inside, and out tumbled empty cans of soda.

When I quit smoking 2 years ago, I switched my addiction from cigarettes to diet soda. All my cigarette cravings were sated with that dark liquid... I went to SF for a week and didn't buy any (because I couldnt find any, although I didnt really search for it either) and when I came back, I drank the 3 I had last friday then BOOM! Like magic ---- I quit. It's been one week. I don't know how to feel. Maybe a little excited because I also lost some weight (scale in moving in the right direction) and when I look at myself in the mirror I feel like I look thinner.
183.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.8 lb a week
