ahh I know that feeling. When I was dating my ex I was 146 (my heaviest until now) then after we broke up I went down to 120!. 2 1/2 years later I am happy with my current BF and I gained all my weight back and some more (151) which I was determined to never do!!!!!! But it happens. We lose mind and sight sometimes. It may takes a moment to realize what you need to do for yourself. Good luck on your journey!

Peaches I did the exact same thing, TWICE! Above all, do not get discouraged. I am saying third time is the charm. I was reading an article that said, even if you are constantly battling throughout your life, ultimately, it is better for your health than being heavy the entire time. Eventually you body and brain will adapt your "new state" as natural and the habits will follow making the permanent change possible with less effort.

@skydiverjim I sure hope so. I tried so many times over the last two years to get back on track but it never worked. I have no idea where the motivation came from the first time around. Having B.E.D. definitely doesn't help
@Panigale1199 Thanks for the support lovely! My first success with weight loss happened after my first relationship ended, something just clicked in my head and I started leading an entirely different lifestyle. It was during my third relationship that I started to munch out a year later since his house always had so much delicious food :P

You know the routine. Always document your food. That's what keeps a lot of us on track.

Sometimes having been up that road before can actually help -- you know where some of the pitfalls can be lurking!! Good luck .... I'm also getting myself back into shape after letting myself go too far. I'm 25 of 40 done, but these last 15 are a bitch and a half!!

ejc.... I'm finding the last 15 are as difficult or harder to lose then the original 82.

I understand the feeling. I had went from 195lbs down to 148lbs at one time (2008). As of December 2014, I had hit 230lbs and I am now at 200lbs trying to get back down to 170lbs. It can be an arduous process, but you are not alone. There are many of us that are doing it again and we can if we really want to. Luckily, those like us have learned how to keep it up and hit the goal again. You can do it, don't forget how you accomplished your goals before. I'm cheering for ya.

Hi guys please check out Tim Noakes and Banting, its the revved up version of Atkins with all the latest scientific studies. Please read it but in essence when stuck amp up on fat and there you go the scale will move again.

...find what is comfortable to work for you. No "celebrity diet" is good for all. If it works for you, good. If not, then don't worry, they are unsustainable fads. A diet to lose weight is only good to goal weight, from there a decent diet of a balanced nature will keep the extra weight at bay. Its simple science. :)
