That 60-hour fast worked some serious magic on me! Lost almost 3 pounds!!! 🥳
257.2 lb Lost so far: 6.8 lb.    Still to go: 92.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I use the LIFE Fasting app! It helps me keep track of my time. I also do a modified fast so I don't end up passing out (limited to water and a single cup of chicken bone broth with salt, rosemary, and ground ginger). Ginger and rosemary help reduce nausea, apparently that also staves off hunger. Ngl you also need A LOT of willpower, especially on holidays. Had a buncha notifs from my food delivery apps try and tempt me, might have to delete them just to get rid of that temptation. lol

Yeah I bet! I’m vegetarian so no bone broth for me! I used to tack my intermittent fasting in an app too. I was doing 18:6. Didn’t lose much not until I started tracking and reducing calories. Thanks for sharing the info!

I did 60 hours because at 54 hours, your insulin drops to its lowest point since starting your fast. If you're gonna use veggie broth, make absolute sure there's NO CARBS in it or that'll kick you outta ketosis, and add a bit of salt for electrolytes (I used a ¼ teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt per cup of broth). And be sure to break your fast with something light after! A cup of broth and a serving of rice (as long as you eat the rice a bit slower than I did, else ya might get jittery lol) was how I broke mine. Definitely the most important part is staying hydrated though. 64 ounces a day is MANDATORY unless you want an ER visit. Good luck, hope this helps!
