Confession: I’m struggling today. We finally got sun here and I slid into last year’s shorts quite well. I felt leaner and even did a side by side comparison of photos from now and 2 months ago. I could swear I’m leaner…That being said, I did something I probably shouldn’t have…I snuck onto a scale and took a peak. I figured for sure after 10 weeks of healthier choices and looser clothes, I would have lost more than the initial 5 lbs. Sadly…not only did I not lose since my last weigh, but I’m up a pound. This my friends is why I don’t own a scale! It completely screws with my head. Maybe I’ll post the side by sides later and see if others can see a difference…🤔 So today I think I need to fuel my mind and soul with thankfulness and positivity. 🙏🏻📚☀️
165.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Oh I feel this so hard! I just went through the same thing after 1 month! The advices that was good to hear (even if it didn't makes the frustration go away) was that your body is adjusting to getting the nutrition it needs and might binge on whatever you give it in an effort to conserve energy and body fat. So... It could ve working against you, seemingly, in the early days if your lifestyle had to change quite a lot from previous. But it just needs time and more of the same thing.

water weight, and muscle mass increase can seriously play with scale numbers. measurements and clothes fitting is possibly a better indicator. but most important is how you feel. If you feel good, your doing great.
