I have no clue what the bounce is.... I didn't eat off plan last night.. Even took off every speck of breading off the scallops last night... OH well... It will drop again....

"It will drop again" - that's the spirit! The "bounce" is always frustrating, but you are doing great. I'm envious! I have been off plan and gained while you were busy losing. Here I am again. Onwards!

Thanks - I did terribly yesterday, but logged everything as best I remembered it and that always is an eye-opener. I dropped a little despite my terrible eating, which means I must have been doing even worse without supervising myself! Last night I put on a fleece jacket that I had bought when I weighed 20 lbs more and saw how big it was on me. That brought me to a couple of realizations: the weight I've lost so far really does make a difference and I'm not a total failure because I have regained. It is a lifelong problem and will take lifelong conscientiousness. There will be mistakes, but the only disastrous one would be giving up and gaining it all back.

I believe anyone who sticks to this site and their food logging is not a total failure because a) they are not just giving up like so many do and b) they are owning up to their deeds, great or not so great. It's about taking responsibility, then choosing whether to take action or not. Anyone reading this should pat themselves on the back for at least being here!
