Trinity livelaughlove's Journal, 01 October 2014

Dear Diary. Today I feel even more depressed. Only lost .4 and I am in the rapid weight loss portion of my phases. What am I doing wrong. I will cut out the turkey and see if that helps. I was trying to be smart and add some variety to my proteins as lobster isn't a daily option to my due to budget. I felt great yesterday, cleaned the fish tanks, cooked dinner and had good day at work. I know diary if you could talk back you would tell me to hang in there and it will get better. I am not giving up just venting.

I did this in diary form because I feel like I am whining. To the world I am suppose to be open and happy but right now I don't feel that way.

You are losing at a very rapid rate. You need to keep your expecatations realistic with weight loss. Any loss is a good loss. It all adds up. i'M lucky to lose a a couple pounds a month. Your body isn't a machine and many things factor in to weight loss (hormones, genetics, age, sex (male/female), activity levels, lack of sleep, exercise, hormones, etc. Your water weight will also shift all day long. I understan wanting it to come off super fast, but our bodies just don't work that way. You are doing great! Do positive things for yourself and celebrate all the losses on the scale.

Thank you for the pep talk. Guess I just needed a kick in the pants to not feel sorry for myself. I do appreciate you.

Everyone needs to vent on occasion....if you try to keep it all in and not vent, eventually you will find the breaking point. If this journal needs to be your outlet, so be it. No one here is going to judge. When I look at your weight results, I see a sharp decline with every weigh-in. You are doing great! Like Suzi said, set realistic goals and celebrate the (many) small victories.
