Things have been a bit annoying, I've started meeting my gym trainer who's helping me gain muscle but also giving me nutrition advice, how much calories I should have and how much protein etc. I should be consuming.

I've struggled with overeating at the last minute of the day and kept getting takeaway, I'm trying to remind myself how much I hate myself whenever I have takeaway. Hoping in a week for a drop :)
167.6 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 30.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

if u have just started training....ur weight is going to fluxuate up and down, do not focus on the scales....focus on the process. Do weekly shops. Work out all ur meals for that week. do a big shop, so there is never a time in the week you are left with out food. regarding weight training, my advice, focus on form and mobility...make sure everything is correct before adding resistance. Kelly starett, functional patterns are the things you want to look up. Good luck

You will start doing what you need to be doing once you start reminding yourself how much you hate the annoying comments of your trainer, not how much you hate yourself. Trust me on this one.

It sounds like your stepping in the right direction of what you need to do. My question for you is does hating yourself for eating a late night snack achieve anything? um don't have to answer me just reflect if you want too?

Hi ketotlc, thanks that's good to know that my weight will be fluctuating. And I agree about planning out my meals, I feel like when I don't plan them and can't think of anything to eat I just default to takeaways. And yes my gym trainer tells me to focus on correct form a lot I'm working on that thank you 😁👍

Hi Janapp, that's a good point he messages me everyday hahaha I also think that would be a better alternative to self hatred, thanks I hadn't thought of an alternate motivation yet :)

Hi Bearwood, thank you and he's been helpful, he's told me to aim for about 1500 calories a day and also told me how much protein carbs and fat I should have per day it's been helpful

Hi Eliza998, I get your point, I think forgiving myself is also something I wanna work on, to say it's okay if I have a late night snack and not feel bad about it for the next day or two. I feel that I get frustrated quickly, that even if I'm doing well for a week or a month if I mess up on a single day it makes me start hating myself, I'm goin to try to work on that thank you
