I began my diet (I call it a diet, but it is becoming my 'way to live') April 10, 2011. Thirty days have passed. Fifteen pounds have disappeared.
The FatSecret website is loaded with great people and my being accountable to them, to my journal, to my weigh-ins and food recording is working. I am no longer afraid of the numbers on the scale. They are still very high but are creeping down more quickly than I had thought they would. My next goal is a sensible 8 pound loss in the next thirty days.

FatSecret, you are the bomb.
191.8 lb Lost so far: 7.2 lb.    Still to go: 41.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

That is absolutely fantastic! Good for you! I don't know if I could have lost what I have w/o this site. I let myself get distracted for almost two months and no weight loss...getting my priorities straightened out though and this is one of them. Keep up the great work!

I agree with you Pish. It's how I quit smoking too.... found a great website. I just think being left to my own thinking got me to where I was -- I've gotta be accountable and supported. I get both here!
