1 lb a week… at this rate it will take almost 2 years to get below 200. Time to look at my meals and make more changes.
286.8 lb Lost so far: 33.2 lb.    Still to go: 86.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I often think the same thing, I am losing too slow. But you are losing weight, getting healthier! One pound a week isn't bad at all. Just think at the end of the year you would be 52 pounds lighter. Please don't get discouraged. You can do this.

I agree with dkavery. the alternative (giving up) would not serve you, right? you could continue to gain and that is not your goal. you should be proud of your achievements! and sure, make changes but try to remember, sustainable changes are what you are after because quick fixes often result in temporary gains, not lifelong success. shoot for the moon.

I'm with gzwfire -- whatever you do, try to make it sustainable so you can maintain your loss. A pound a week is a great achievement, but I can understand why you'd want to go a little faster. Best of luck!
