My weight has been up a little this week but I have been eating well so it is back down. Same weekend challenges will probably apply with ice cream planned tonight after my son's preschool graduation. For the weekend overall though I am feeling in control. I've been having a lot more salads again which is helpful.

For working out, I started out strong this week and the last few days have been light with work and my son has been sick with a fever. I hope he can manage to be able to go to his graduation practice and little ceremony tonight. I took him to the dr last night and she ruled out swine flu. Later last night his fever got to 105.7 which is as high as any of my kids have gotten. It's weird b/c it keeps flucuating up and down.

My plan today was to workout hard while he has his practice, but I will have to see how he is doing before I can plan on that.

I have my triathlon training schedule for the remaining 8 weeks printed up and hanging up on my bulletin board along with my goal weight for each week on Friday. I did not make my goal of 135 this week. I will keep working toward it though and ultimately by the triathlon I would like to reach 132. I am feeling good and strong and care about the number, but also don't want to get hung up on it either. At this point, I feel fit and would just like to bring in my tummy a little more and continue to get more toned. Hope you all have a great weekend!!
136.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 2.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That's a scary fever! I hope your son is feeling much better. You're doing great, as usual. I'm thinking of joining a running club in my town - just for inspiration. They seem to be very accepting of walkers and run-walkers, too. They have training programs for all levels, and weekly runs. I missed the deadline for the summer training, but there's one coming up in the fall I can join. Thanks for inspiring me to think I can do this!

Aw, I hope your little guy felt well enough to go to his graduation party. You have very realistic goals for your training and weight. And I'm glad you aren't hung up on the numbers, since your size may very well decrease while nothing happens to your weight, especially with all of your extra training and resulting muscle gains. Keep up the great work. I wanna be like you when I grow up! Hehehehe.
