Down again, up and down like a yoyo LOL. Not measuring anything but carbs now, seeing if it helps if I am a lot less obsessed with every minute detail.

Aftershocks are settling down for now, not sure if they will stay that way, probably not. Been sleeping okay thanks to my meds, will miss them when they finish!

Hubby and I are feeling guilty that our house survived so much better than the rest of the family. We are really glad of course but can't help feeling guilty when the others are struggling a lot more. His brother still doesn't have power or water or sewerage, his mother has power, water is intermittant and no sewerage. We have all 3. We also have the least damaged house, which I am so grateful for.

Our only real problem is that due to a damaged chimney (right down from the top to the fireplace) we have no heating for the winter and we are going to be getting our first cold blast this weekend. It could be a lot worse so we really can't complain. Doesn't make me any less nervous though!

Glad to hear that the aftershocks are better at the moment. I sure hope they stay away. If you need the med's, then take them. That is why they were made and that is to help when needed. Noticed, just a bit over a pound to go and you are in onederland. YAHOO Squiggs. Keep up the great work.:)

With everything you are having to endure...actually live, a little helper..(meds) are a blessing...at least your body is able to rest and that will keep you strong in the end....Dear Squiggs, I understand why you might be feeling a twinge of guilt...but don't, you are most fortunate, and because of your good fortune, you can help others. Much love to you and your family, thinking of you.

Squiggs, pls know that we are all keeping you in our prayers! It must be so difficult, and yes, pls do use the medicine, if it helps you - than go back to the dr.'s and get it refilled!!! For goodness sake, you are living on such anxiety circumstances, it's enough for anyone's nerves to crack. And I am also glad you have the ability to help and serve your family and neighbors. Who knows - you may end up w/ them all at your place with winter coming soon for you. Praying for your whole community's recovery! Much Love.

Squiggs, thinking about you lots. Glad your home is in okay condition. Try not to feel any guilt, at least with what you have available to you, you can help the rest of the family. Glad you have meds, sounds like you need them, I would be right there taking them too. Hoping that things settle down for you, I don't know how you do it, I really don't but when you have no choice, you find the strength from somewhere. As always you are in my prayers.
