I wish I could figure out why I keep gaining when have increased my activity and decreased my calorie in take.
183.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 33.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

One reason might be because if you don't eat enough to keep your metabolism fueled (for your workouts), it can slow it down (hence no weight loss or even gains). You should probably not be going below 1200 calories a day. Also, look at what you are eating. Stay away from too many processed foods and try to get a balance of lean protein, fruits and veggies. Lean dairy has also been shown to help decrease fat. Sometimes when we do a lot of exercise, we don't see the scale move but we lose fat (go down in sizes). There could many reasons for the gain. If you know you aren't over eating, then you know it's not fat. Google "why the scale lies" (it's on primusweb.com) and it will explain many different reasons for gains when you are doing what you are supposed to.

Thanks for the advice. At work we are doing a food journal on FitDay.com. It has a pie chart that show what % of your diet is what. My carbs seem to be higher than they should be. I am going to try cutting back on carbs an eating more fruit and veggies. Something has to work, I have been pretty much at a stand still since last August.
