I realized when I weighed this morning I recorded a slightly lower than actual # yesterday (my scale saves previous weight). Only .2 difference but that means I'm up .2 less today 😀 So close it's basically maintaining anyway.

When I was preparing dinner last night, I was using a bunch of ingredients I had open in the fridge from previous meals....sausage, chick peas, marinara sauce & diced jalapeños. Since I measure everything out & don't just dump whole containers in, I find I have "stuff" to use all the time. That also means I'm making 2 servings of a meal as apposed to a whole family style meal that would potentially tempt us to have 2nd helpings. Of course since I'm only cooking for 2, that makes a difference.

I was also thinking earlier where some people have gained weight during the Pandemic Hubby & I have maintained. For me I think it's because I'm cooking most of our meals....We're not going out socializing, that can lead to eating more calories & drinking more as well. That's where some of my previous ups & downs came from. Of course, I did lose the weight while socializing, so I know I can balance it all if I'm paying attention.

I worked in the yard for awhile today then sat down with some magazines & a snack. I was reading home improvement / decorating magazines....I looked up across the yard & decided the planter I had some basil & marigolds in would look better painted red & white. So, I grabbed my paint & the planter & painted it. Is that weird.....?? 🙄

I think we're having pizza & a salad for dinner. I have some Tuna steaks to cook, but I realized when I eked out just enough olive oil to sautée the onions & peppers for dinner last night, I should have bought more when I was at the store.

Normally over Labor Day weekend our favorite local Pub has a big fund raiser to support Muscular dystrophy & a couple of other diseases. It's a big deal in our community. They have a big special on Oysters of all types, music & a silent auction. This year they're doing the auction online & no big to do @ the Pub. 🙁

The community is having a concert in the park to support our local Sheriff's Dept. on Sunday. We're planning to take our folding chairs & find a spot to listen to the music & participate.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 31.8 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
