So I was a good girl yesterday & my weight went back down 😉😀😆 Just kidding! I actually ate what I wanted...it just happened to be fewer calories. It wasn't totally by accident...I made some choices that kept the calorie count down. Breakfast was our usual fresh fruit with 1/2 a bagel & an egg on top. Instead of sliced cheese I sprinkled a tbsp. of goat cheese on top....1/2 the calories. I skipped wine with dinner since I had a couple of cocktails with our friends in the afternoon (Bud Light Seltzer ▪100 calories each) We had grilled pork chops for dinner so I chose Kale salad with low calorie additions. I had dessert ▪140 calories (2 cups) of Boom Chika Pop Kettle Corn....then I stopped eating for the night. So, just a few adjustments to my maintenance diet & I'm back on track 😊 For breakfast today I had fruit with a blueberrie waffle, 1 tbls. pure Maple syrup, 2 slices of bacon & 2 cups of coffee with creamer. It still came in at under 400 calories.

My point is, you can eat well without totally blowing it. And if you choose to eat more than your customary calories one day....or more....you can go right back to your normal WOE at any time. A lot of you know this. This is just an example for those that see a before & after photo of some of our successful members & ask....what's the secret?

It has taken me years to figure some of this out. (I'll be 65 soon 😊) And I'm still a work in progress. At any given time I could stop making good choices & fall back into old bad habits. But, I feel more committed this time.
143.2 lb Lost so far: 29.6 lb.    Still to go: 8.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sherry, you are such an inspiration. I am so envious of the variety of gorgeous food you describe and show. It is hard to find the same here in England. Blueberry waffles....hmm.... must find a recipe for those as they sound divine. Love reading about your journey.
