@seanlucero. I weigh/measure and log everything I eat. I stick to my daily calorie goal pretty religiously so that I am always in a calorie deficit. If I find that I hit a plateau in my weight loss, I will intentionally eat a few hundred extra calories for a day or two and then go back to regular calorie limit to keep my body from getting used to a reduced calorie diet. I no longer eat junk food or fast food. I stick to fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats (chicken turkey, fish, and occassionally 93% lean hamburger), nuts, rice, and some cheese. I don't do cheat days or even cheat meals. My only real indulgence is that maybe two or three times a week I will have one Hershey kiss. I try to drink plenty of water, especially before a meal so I don't overeat. My go to snack when I have those really hungry moments is celery. It's filling but super low calorie.
