No more family pasta dishes left after today (there is more in the freezer). It's been delicious, but it's time to go back to protein and veggies. I suspect a good deal of this is water retention because I never use salt in my cooking and the scale agrees, but I don't want to go backwards.

Scale says body fat down, muscle and water up. I know there's pasta in there somewhere. Oh, and when I say pasta, I mean pasta, cheese, sauce and some meat. This isn't a carb issue. Pants still fit, too.

Zones data on last night's swim was really good. Even doing sprints, average heart rate was 138. I did 100 strokes followed by 10 seconds rest so I kept moving the entire time.

More stats: 16 swims in March, 10 in April (26 total and it's been cold, windy and rainy). Improvement on strokes and heart rate overall and that's substantial. Watch says I'm on a 60 day streak as far as closing the rings and getting at least 30 minutes a day in. That's a double-edged sword for me because now I'm going to lose it if I miss a day because it's hard to make up a 60 day streak in less than 60 days. Move goal for the month is 23,900 calories. It's the 14th and I have 10,039 so far. I need some sunny days so we can take long walks and OMG I miss the canyons. It's so much easier to walk forever there. Snapshot of swim workouts only (walks not included) and increased caloric burn since I started this thirty swims in thirty days thing which I think I'm going to continue.

There's other stuff going on, of course, can't talk about it though, so that sucks. It is less cloudy today. That makes me happy. Onward!
