I was thinking this morning I'm really glad I decided to take action 9 months ago & start a healthier lifestyle....eating better & trying to be more active. If I was doing things my old way this quarantined way of living could be going much differently. Instead of trying to come up with healthy but tasty recipes I'd be eating my way to even more lbs. that don't belong on this 5'4" body.

I do consider myself very lucky to have my Hubby to share my days with. I felt that way even before this all started. At least I have someone to talk to & give me a hug when I need it. As a retiree I miss being able to socialize with friends but I've already been filling my days with activities that I enjoy.

I had a phone call with my sister this morning. She & her husband have been quarantined for the past 2 weeks even more so than we have. She is working from home (Banking) & they've been doing delivery & pick up for groceries. They are in a county (suburb of Atlanta) with a lot more confirmed cases. It makes me wonder if we're being careful enough. Their youngest daughter is in Hospital administration & even though she doesn't come into contact with patients she does see Doctors face to face. I know it's weighing heavily on their minds how at risk my neice is. Thankfully she is healthy & in her 30"s so would stand a greater chance of fighting off the virus if she got it. The Hospital system she works for that is actually the one my Doctors are affiliated with put out a notice yesterday that we should all remain quarantined for another 2 weeks.

Trying to stay cheerful but little things make me cry more these days....I was always a crier. Movies, commercials, puppies.....😢
