59Carol's Journal, 21 March 2020

I am slowly but surely creeping back down. I have eaten just above my window all week. Variety of why that happened however the end result is a very modest drop of 0.8 pounds. I am hoping for a more predictable week coming up as then I eat what I prepare and not what is available.

This has been an emotionally hard week. COVID doesn't help but not the focus of the week just the stressful background! May the decisions and actions that come out of this week be the beginning of a healthy and happy journey for the people I love.

Trying to rent two units for April 1 in the atmosphere of COVID and an economic downtown in our community. Not an easy atmosphere for people to be moving in. Showed the units yesterday. Not sure what she will decide. Depends if she wants a house or an apartment, I think. She had concerns about mowing the lawn which makes me think she is more likely to opt for apartment living.

Thank you Shirfleur. By the afternoon of writing this, my sister is exhibiting mild COVID symptoms so she is isolated for 14 days. Unfortunately she dropped by my daughter's place the evening before she realized she was ill so they too are under isolation. So as it turns out I will be isolating except for doing any deliveries to the family. They are all stocked up so likely an unneeded service. So in the end I am home and can make things pretty predictable on the food/exercise front. Life changes on a dime.

Temporary life changes for most all of us

COVID has certainly impacted everyone all over the globe. Compared to what I have read, my family is getting by very well. Truly all we can do as a human community is to take necessary precautions to keep all of us as safe as possible. Each of us need to do out parts in isolating as much as is possible so this virus can be stopped.
