Looks like some of that yummy bread pudding and candied bacon on my decadent salad are still hanging around today. I'm not mad....We enjoyed our celebratory meal and today I'll eat more conservatively. Probably tomorrow, too....I get blood work early Monday AM for a routine checkup.

Last night as the day was ending I was pondering on how blessed I am to have to have a partner to share day to day life with. While we were at the Winery we ran into & chatted with a friend that lost her husband a little over a year ago. I know she still misses him so much. Then I saw my dear friend that lost her daughter in December. She was out with some friends & she told me she & her husband were going thru a tough time and probably would be getting a divorce 😕 We had already planned to get together for lunch on Monday so she said she'd fill me in then. It makes me so sad. My husband and I definitely have our moments but I'm so thankful we found each other. Ours is a 2nd marriage for both of us and I think we got it right the 2nd time around 😊

It's a beautiful, sunny day today....2nd in a row! Cold but bright & cheerful. No plans for today, but I'm sure we'll get a walk in this afternoon.
