so yeah, I know weight loss is primarily about what you eat (or dont) ..... but to maintain your loss is supposed to be more about exercise.

what do disabled people do?

I'm having a hard time walking or doing anything for that matter due to chronic Illnesses. then I get depressed because somedays I cant even..leave the house.... or my bed..

depression leads to giving up and finding comfort in anything (I.e. ice cream)

finding the will to struggle with food in a body that's screaming in pain is becoming increasingly difficult. .. I am never comfortable. I am never without pain. I hope to lose weight to help it.... but I also know the last time I did and my center of gravity shifted it caused more back pain.

anyone have some inspirational stories?

maybe i should just accept that life is pain. theres no cure. but eating healthy is never a bad idea..... it's better in the long run I guess.

I am a swimmer. I am lucky that the pool that I go to is nice warm water— about 87-88. There are many people who go there that are disabled on land but warriors in the water. You don’t have to know how to swim, you just have to move and let the water be your resistance. Check to see if your area has a warm water pool. It’s magic.

Just reading some f your story back. YOU are an inspirational story. Life is always going to be a battle for you but you have lots of things to look forward and help you through. Your children sound mega (too 😎). Bad day bad start but do as already mentioned and get in that warm pool. Fancy it myself!

Y'all are right. A pool is a good idea. Mine is down for the winter but I could look into a place that has one. I love to bike but i found out that a large part of my daily pain is endometriosis.... and when I bike it tugs at an adhesion causing terrible pain for days. My mother in law said she'd help pay for the surgery to help my endo... that's why I need to try and lose weight again. It's a multi organ abdominal surgery and I need to be as healthy as possible to recover properly. Thanks for the support.
