Back down this AM. 😊 Going for labs this morning for my yearly physical. I'm hoping to be down a bit more by next week when I actually see the Dr. I had another Dr.'s appt in July and got all kinds of kudos for losing some weight. I had actually lost a bit more since my previous appt. than I had since I started keeping track on FS again. Hopefully healthier eating will show up in my blood work as well. My #'s were good 6 months ago but always room for improvement.
The goal I set for myself is probably at least 10 lbs. more than ideal weight in medical standards. I decided I could be happy at that weight without depriving myself of everything. I felt good when I hit it first time around but of course I didn't maintain at that weight, so here I am again 😐 Something I've observed is when people my age lose a lot of weight they don't fill out their faces and it makes them look older. I want to lose enough to feel good & feel happy with how I look without looking older. I'll be 64 end of next month.
I'm hosting Book Club Wed. night so I should be busy this week getting ready. Less opportunity to be idle and thinking about snacks 😊 Then I have to make it through the evening while not overdoing the good stuff everyone contributes. Last month I was on an alcohol free month. I've started enjoying a glass of wine here and there, so another challenge to deal with. Off to the Dr's office.
162.0 lb Lost so far: 10.8 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
