Theres always that chance that your metabolism will kick back into high gear and you will be able to enjoy some foods again.

IMO it's harder.

I have only been maintaining for 18 months; I still have ups and downs. Set a "upper limit" weight target and when you hit it, take action.

I asked the same thing not too long ago and there were very promising responses. I believe from Keyten and Keillin or I am getting the K's mixed up. (I'm nowhere near maintenance but asked on a different post)

I think maintenance is just as much of a challenge. I still need to track my food intake or the pounds creep back up.

I have stopped logging. Every now and again, I will log a meal/snack if it isn't something I usually eat just so I know going forward. If you have certain foods in rotation - then you kind of know. I weigh in weekly..but have only been in maintenance since May...most likely will weigh weekly until end of the summer. Will weigh monthly thereafter...essentially will continue weekly weigh ins until I feel my WOE and movement are habitual.

sallkr3– I don’t care how long a person has done maintenance, it is still something that everyone has to be mindful of. I have been following my WOE for many years and I still log as best I can. I don’t eat out a lot (doesn’t appeal to me), so when I do I just am mindful of my portions, pick the best choice possible, but if there is something I really want I just order it. I do not take leftovers home. I try to split with someone or I order off of the appetizer menu. Your habit is what carries you through, but It is so easy to just slip into old habits. That’s where yo-yo dieting comes in and another trip back to the world of FS

Thank you all for the feedback, I think I will plan to get below my goal 2-4lbs to allow for fluctuations and weigh in weekly for a few months and go from there.

I want to add...that I stopped logging based on my WOE. I follow DASH diet - which allots specific serving sizes based on your RDI. If I follow the recommended serving sizes, the idea is that I will naturally fall within my calorie range with recommended macros. So for me, this particular WOE gives me more freedom from logging. It may differ depending on other's WOE or historical relationship with food.
