Relearning to combine my foods correctly. I've added a bunch of fruits and vegetables, but felt bloated. Yesterday I reviewed fit-for-life and I'm on the right track. Haven't read the book since the 80's, but I feel better already after changes my eating.

Fruits and veggies are high in fiber. They can make you feel bloated if you eat too many and your not used to it. It's best to add them in slowly so your body gets used to it.

Thanks Suzi161. I also learned that it's not good to drink water when you're eating them, because it slows down the digestion or dilutes the digestive juices.

This is only my second day on this site and I have already learned a lot. Thank you for information on veggies and to incorporate them slowly and also about the water. I bloat a lot and it's probably the water combined with the food. I had no idea!
