HUGE non- scale victory! 😊 When I started at the gym 6 months ago I could barely finish 15 push-ups on a bar waist high. But I worked on them every week, slowly lowering that bar on the smith machine until the lowest setting was too easy, then progressed to doing push-ups propping my hands up on a low aerobic step. Last night before bed I decided to see if I could finally complete a real, full- length floor push-up and I belted out 20! 😳 This is very exciting for me. I have never been able to do real push-ups before and always did them from my knees.

Next project is progressing to be able to do pistol squats which are ridiculously difficult to do. But you start by just getting up on one leg from a chair topped with a pillow, easy!

Congratulations!! I went thru that with chin-ups. It's a wonderful feeling! Good luck with the pistol squats; never got those before my knees quit.
