Sorry to stalk your page haha! Keto is when you eat a high fat, low carbohydrate diet. It consists mainly of meats and veggies. It is based off the idea that if you don’t eat carbs, your body has no glucose to use as energy. When your body has no glucose, it will produce these hormones called ketones which will then use the next best source of energy, fat. Ketones literally eat your fat away, it’s truly amazing. I feel so energized and ready, I used to be so sluggish and crash when I ate carbs. My memory is so much better and I have no mental fog, I even have a 4.0 now, it’s amazing how motivated I am and how much information I can retain when I actually feed my brain with the proper nutrients it needs to function, fat. They tell you fat is the enemy, that is actually the opposite. The food companies thrive off of people buying processed crap filled with chemicals and sugar.

If you have the time, search “Fathead” on YouTube, it’s a eye opening documentary on the lies that are told. Fat doesn’t make you fat, sugar and carbs do! It has all the science and evidence in a neat documentary, exposing the sugar industry and explaining how sugar actually causes heart diseases, not fat!

Check out websites like KetoGains and KetoConnect for all the in-depth how it works info. I like it - carbs make me hungry, which makes dieting so much harder.

I spent time in the Facebook keto groups most of last year. The very best, far and away, is the Common Sense Keto group. I HIGHLY recommend it. Lotsa folk getting great results (me, included). :)
