Mrs Rancor's Journal, 29 January 2018

Trying extremely hard to transition to vegan. Been attempting to maintain a fully vegan diet since the 14th, however, I have had a few items containing eggs and products containing milk (mostly cheese) -- I have remained fully vegetarian however and I am feeling great as a result. Keeping on keeping on!

I was vegan in college and am still vegetarian now. New habits take time to adopt and old ones take time to unlearn. If you want to do this, you can. Good luck!

Thanks you guys. It feels great to have people to talk to that encourage me rather than tell me why I should eat meat and animal products and how dumb I am for trying. I love this community. It is so full of inspiration and altogether just kindhearted people.

It definitely can be a process. There are vegan "cheeses", hard to find though. I found some and it's really good. Not sure how you're having the eggs though. Hang in there!

I have been doing the same since beginning of Jan its hard and have slipped up but don't make the same mistake twice as I'm serious and know I can make better choices, cheese was easy as I watched a show that told me some facts I hadn't known, ham was hard until I found it was a carcinogen. I am just glad that some shops offer alternatives and will stock up on them and cant wait to find others but know its up to me to just make new things and that's half the fun hope I can convert my family soon ;)
