Debbie Cousins's Journal, 15 January 2018

I went to bed at 7pm last night, because my tooth hole was hurting. Took a pain pill that was supposed to last for 8 hours (Motrin 800mg), but I woke up at 12:30am, and could not go back to sleep because of the pain. So, I took a 4-hour pain pill (Tramadol) and still couldn’t go back to sleep, so I got UP.

Apparently, that was God’s plan, because it certainly wasn’t mine! Turns out, there are lots of FS members (even in our Challenge) who are in different parts of the world (or on crazy sleep schedules) and respond instantly to messages sent between 1am-5am. Who knew!

God also inspired me to start a new Group: “Christian Community.” When I joined FS over a week ago, I joined 6 groups and posted in each of them. Most of them had seen ZERO activity in several MONTHS, and I only got 1 response from 1 person in 1 group. So, This morning, I opted out of all those groups and decided to start a new one where people would get responses to their posts, as well as any encouragement and prayers they need. My prayer is that it will be a beacon of hope and strength to lots of people!

I was ready to go back to bed at 5:30am (tooth hole REALLY hurting again, and I wanted to take a STRONGER pain pill, which also makes me drowsy. But, I decided to have breakfast first, since I’ve already done a day’s work and didn’t want to be awakened because I was hungry.

So, Breakfast was: 1 Atkins Ham & Cheese Omelet (4 carbs) topped with 1 additional slice of Medium Cheddar Cheese. So far today: 4g Carbs, 22g Fats, 21g Protein and 290 Calories. I’m very happy with that! Now it's 6am, and I'm headed back to pain-free sleep (I hope) for as long as possible! Zzzzz. OH, I better get back into bed before I start snoring!

I’m so sorry that I JUST saw your comment to my 1/15 Journal Entry about starting the Christian Community Group! Please accept my apology, @margusL. Since you’re not sharing your Journal entries or allowing Followers, I couldn’t respond directly to you, but I think I found a go-around by commenting on a post you made on Easter, 2016.
