wholefoodnut's Journal, 12 January 2018

The respiratory crud is slowly retreating and feeling better daily even though still having hard coughing spells but fewer of those. I was able to do some daily chores after work yesterday and it was easy to get them done, instead of feeling like the were huge impossible tasks. ie: dishes, run the dust mop around my floors, scoop the cat box (with kitty's help) nothing major, just daily normal stuff.

MRI scheduled for the 15th as we have a guaranteed 7-3:00 work day since the stock market is closed. Neurologist appt will be set up for after the MRI. These are to track down why chronic migraines have returned.

Glad that it is Friday and that the prednisone gets decreased to 1 pill a day today.

Exercise yesterday was limited to some leaning on a counter push ups and stretches in the break room @ work. I get weird looks from some I don't know--big company and lots of newbies and temps around right now.

That's funny. I do the same thing at work. I work at a hospital and I get all kinds of looks. I've even had people join me!!

I love the idea of you two stretching at work! It should be done by so many more people!🤷🏻‍♀️Glad you are feeling a bit better!

I sit at a desk all day so stretching is mandatory. I also have a small 10 pound kettle ball on my desk that I use for some simple arm exercises to loosen up the shoulders, neck and upper back. People stop by my desk to use it they all know it's OK with me
