TGIF!! It was actually a good day for me. Feeling much better. A tiny workout tonight but was out of breath pretty quickly, so add more tomorrow.

MRI is postponed until I can figure out the $$$. Wasn't planning on a $1200.00 charge to pay the day of the scan. Insurance has changed things around again and we now have to meet the $1000.00 deductible before they pay on diagnostics. Obama Care has made our coverage expensive and it doesn't cover nearly as much, every year it has gotten worse.

This bitter cold weekend will be spent putting away Christmas and getting the house a bit back to normal. Hauling stuff up and down the attic ladder will be a workout.

The last prednisone pill is Sunday so will drop down to trying to average around 1200 calories and hope to be able to add in some workouts.

Too tired to do anymore so it's lights out for me 8:00

Congress has changed what is being covered by our healthcare and what isn’t. It has nothing to do with the previous plan. The cuts to medicare and medicaid are effecting many of us. I am happy that you are getting in some workout though.

IT's been worse every year. This meeting a 1000. deductible before anything is new this year as it didn't affect my cataract surgery last year. I was not expecting it. They didn't send us a paper packet of benefits this year, everything is online and was only accessible from work--didn't have time to read it all. It is updated on our plan login so was out there after work last night. Since Obama care my health insurance went from $0.00 to $178.00 per month and the co-pay from $20.00 to $40.00 last year-40 to 80 on any specialist. nothing to do with this years. It's still 40. Many haven't been able to afford the increases in the family coverage and they used to be affordable.

Bill, I love my Christmas stuff but putting them up is overdue. They add more clutter to my house and my artificial tree sheds needles just like a real tree. My cat will miss her pay area under the tree.

@wfn I just don’t call it Obamacare because the current product that is ‘ ‘covering’people has very little to do with the package that was voted past THAT congress. That was the affordable care act! And was piggy backed on the medicare and medicaid systems on a state by state basis at their choice. The current changes that are strangling and yes killing many of us (my sister being one, as she now cannot get her meds for COPD)! are due to the changes just pushed through over strong grass roots protest by our CURRENT congress and president that became effective 2018. Nothing to do with Obama at all, so the poor man should be left alone and stopped getting blamed for stuff that’s happening well after he has any control over it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ That was my point. 🙆🏻‍♀️Off subject a bit, but as a medicare user who has been victimized as one of those people who is, “riding the system.” And yet can barely leave my bed to have a life I am sensitized to the people who have demonized my existence in the media in front of the world.

I'm not going to get into splitting hairs about who politically is responsible for the insurance mess. So let's drop it. please.
