Hi everyone call me E .....long story . 2014 I lost use of my lower spine, both hips and both knees. I had a bed in the Va and how they laid me in bed for the night was how they got me out.An aid would take me to rehab where the staff work with us for 2hrs a day six days a week. months went by and through alot of determination,a positive never quit additude and a great Va team,started getting some movement back and the time came the Doctor said if you can raise your feet ..3 inches off the ground you can go home.that time came.packing up and leaving I can tell you nurse's do cry........Va inspector made sure that l had ramps and grab bars through out the house. Rehab showed up twice a week and passed on my progress for two months. I requested a walker from the Va. lve been wheelchair bound for a couple of years.I told Bunny my wife 2nd generation Irish and proud of it she says.hahaha well I said I'm going to walk and with a little help from my friends and alot of falls and now I'm caning it...I weighed in to the Va at188lbs. l was discharged at here I am fat and alot of muscle loss
I lost some of my weight at home.this past summer I joined the community pool it was cheap in cost. I swam at least. 3 time's a week.the water got to cold for me in Nov. so I weighed out at. 226lbs. I joined the YMCA they have a great weight room and a heated pool and a couple of wks ago I joined the FS goal is for. 200lbs and then I'll go back to the Va. to my floor where it all started and pass out hugs.
225.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
