Starting FatSecret for the accountability mostly. I have always struggled with my weight, even as a child. Now that I have been married for a little while, the pounds seem to keep coming. I need to make a change for my health while I am still young, and establish good habits for my family. Here's to new starts!

Welcome! I hope you find inspiration on FS. I surely have.
I read something last week that said more people are successful when they change their approach on weight loss from "I need" to "I want." When you say you need to lose weight, it becomes a burden. Wanting to lose weight puts you in control. It's your decision. Made sense to me. Maybe that can help.
