Did poorly today. I couldn't stick to my plan. Day 1 was pretty good, I woukd say maybe an "B" but today I should get an "F"! Once I started, I couldn't help it... until I threw away the bag of chips and gave my dog all the leftover roast. Ugh!

I must have missed something...what was your plan? Fasting? You are so close to your goal and sometimes that makes us a little crazy with not following plan...

I couldn't stick to my plan either. Did perfectly until about 6pm. Stomach was feeling touchy so I had a piece of sliced Hawaiian bread. Then since that wasn't enough I had a large bowl of Life cereal. Neither bread nor cereal is allowed on the no processed food challenge. Guess I just wanted what I couldn't have. But you are soooooooo close!

@Horseshu, I'm on the 3 day fasting challenge and my plan was two cups of coffee with milk and cream and the rest will be plain tea but I had some chips, leftover roast and a tiny piece of chcolate (tiny tiny, like the size of my thumb nail), definitely in the 500-600 calories range. @Fritzy, I also find evening especially challenging. I was never a big rice fan even with my Asian background, but I have been dreaming myself eating rice lately. Just like "don't think about the pink elephat" theory. Not only will you start thinking about it, you will also notice it's hot pink! Since we can't have processed food, I can't use almond flour to make low-carb bread for now.

Amanda, I'm not hungry, everything is all in my mind. I think fasting once a month is not only reasonable and beneficial to our body and mind. I do enjoy the challenge. If I do reach my goal weight, I will do it not for weight loss but for health reason. Thanks again for your concerns. Have a wonderful Monday!

Shake it off, this is not the "you" that you can be!

Thsiun, I googled almond flour to see if it's considered a processed food and most flours are processed. But I've had "treats" on the challenge. A baked potato with butter. A small potato, but it isn't processed.

If you have a food processor or coffee grinder you can use them to mill your own seeds into "flour" unless that would be considered "processed" as well. I grind sesame seeds as part of my bread flour. And you could probably use that and eggs to at least make a flat fry bread in a pan. 🤷🏻‍♀️

If you are making your own flour by grinding seeds that's not processed foods. Processed foods have all kinds of ingredients and preservatives. Grinding sesame seeds sounds good!

@Smprowett, that will be helpful, glad I picked up a food processor over the weekend! I guess it shouldn't be considered "processed". I will give it a try. Thank you.
