RoseFlorida's Journal, 12 April 2017

So I did something kind of stupid today. I stopped at the grocery store while waiting for hubby and son's dinner next door (Chinese for them, grocery something for me) and somehow stubbed my toe on the grocery cart, But no I couldn't just stub the toe, I ripped part of the nail off, ouch! I don't even know how! It didn't look too bad at the store, just a bit of bleeding but tonight I did not want to put on sneakers. It hurts, so for the next few days my treadmill use will be while wearing flip flops. It was a long day,I was stuck extra at work, friend not at home when supposed to be so there for an extra hour, back way to store blocked and have to go long crowded way, hurt toe. I didn't want to use the treadmill tonight so I only got in 30 minutes instead of an hour, oh well. I still got my cardio in, just a little less than planned. Sorry to whine. It was just one of those days. I hope everyone had a great day.

Some days are like that. Give yourself a break and a day and get back to it when you can.

I'm not sure about my body needing a break, more of a pay more attention dummy. I usually stub my toes on the cart, I need to stop wearing flip flops in the store. I will most likely cut down for a few days until healed though.

Everything happens for a reason. You probably need the down time. You will get back to it next week. No worries.
