Bad, Bad day yesterday! Office xmas party....nothing to eat but carbs...not that that's an excuse, but I kind of made my mind up that i would be cheating that day....and boy did I.
Couldn't stay out of the cookies, once I tried one.
New day today, and I think as long as I make good choices I should be ok to make it through xmas. Decided that I will not make any of MY favorite desserts this year, for fear of the danger of the leftovers in the house (that did me in at Thanksgiving), so instead, I will make desserts that do not tempt me...so there will be lots of chocolate which will make everyone else in the house happy! So after my big splurge I couldn't resist checking in with the scale...and I was up almost 3 pounds....hopefully by weigh in day on Monday that will be gone. How can I gain 3 lbs in one day and it take an entire week to lose it!!!! Some things just aren't right!

Don't let it get you down Ginas; as you said, "Today's a New day", and another chance to make better choices. The holidays aren't over yet, and there are sure to be more get togethers; enjoy them, but be aware, there will be temptations, so choose wisely, to limit the damage. I feel ya, on those 3 lbs, I gained more than 10 pounds between Thanksgiving, and the Monday after. How can that happen, I don't know, but it did, and all we can do is get back on track, refusing to give up; because if we do, we fail, and that's not an option. Merry Christmas.
