43 yrs old, live on the Jersey Shore....and no, it's not like the Jersey Shore you see on MTV. Mother of 4 amazing beautiful & health driven kids! Time for me to jump on their bandwagon and get into shape rather than feeling self conscious all the time! Heaviest weight ever at 157. Started Atkins in Oct, 2011.

Coffee talk
Thanks....I definitely will try the almond milk (before atkins I was a pescatarian and only used rice milk or almond milk). I switched to decaf because when I read the atkins book, it recommended reducing your caffeine intake, I don't drink soda, so figured I'd cut it out with the coffee. Not missing it at all though, for some strange reason. The weight loss has been slow going, although I feel better and even though the scale may only show a pound, I feel thinner. LOL Maybe its just wishful thinking!

Coffee talk
So, I am in the habit of having 1-2 large cups of coffee per day. Since starting atkins I have switched to decaf. But, i like it light and sweet. I have been using splenda and heavy cream (but not always feasible on the run) in which case I have been skipping the splenda and using a non dairy flavored creamer. Anyone have any alternatives?
