cheleletourneau's Journal, 25 August 2016

I am so excited. Had my A1C blood work yesterday and results came in this morning. I am 6!!! (normal range is 4.5 - 6.2) I was at 9.3 3 months ago when I was diagnosed. I am not on any meds and brought it down by diet and exercise alone! I am going to beat this. Figure if I get this result consecutively for a year or two, I have beat it and it will be in remission (as my doctor says. She doesn't say you beat it, even though on line they say you can). Whatever you want to call it, I am on the right path to maintain a good A1C level with my new lifestyle change :)

That's fabulous. Let me just tell you, my diabetes meds cost over $1,000 for 3 months supply. Do what you can as early as you can.
