Greetings & Salutations! (Sal-you-what?!?)

My name's Jennifer. I live in the beautiful Pacific NW. I love to garden, make fermented food, volunteer, crochet, belly dance, do yoga and am quite crafty! I'm 42 & have twin 21 year old daughters who are some of the most amazing people I know.

I am getting back on track again. At my heaviest I weighed 364 lbs. I got down to 252 this spring but got off track this summer & got up to 285.

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes a year ago. I hope to reverse this & get off Metformin through healthy lifestyle changes.

My plan, right now, is to track daily and stay within my docs recommendation of 45g carbs per meal & 15 per snack... At or under 1800 calories. I will progress towards lower carbs. Possibly even LCHF with intermittent fasting... I have been very successful with lower carbs & feel better.

I also plan to be consistently more active & better about getting enough water.

I love & appreciate how supportive our FS community is here and look forward to my continued journey with you all!
