I don't think fruits and veggies cost that much once you toss out all the other crap. Man made food that is. IMO

Yep, what Randy said! Stay away from the processed, packaged crap and buy real food. It's cheaper and better for you.

Try to think of meals in advance so you have a list of what you need in whole food. I agree with Randy, stay away from processed foods or switch brands of processed to a healthier kind. What do you eat now ??

Your best bet might be to count calories and focus on getting healthy food. A big container of oatmeal is only a few dollars. Canned and frozen (fresh is always better, but canned and frozen is sometimes cheaper) vegetables also work. Check online for sales. I know Walmart marks down their meats certain times of the week. You can buy it and freeze it. A bag of potatoes. Bread isn't too expensive (store brand). Plan out your meals ahead of time so you know what you are going to eat. Measuring cups and spoons and great tools to help you see what a "serving" looks like. Remember it's about progress not perfection. Make small changes you can live with. Legumes (beans are also not expensive). This is a learning process. So be proactive and learn as much as you can about nutrition online.

I spend about $50 a week for my son and I on the Keto Diet. Start up is expensive, but well worth it. (Steak, ground beef, chicken, lunch meat, some veggies, yogurt, etc.) Main stay is bullet proof coffee and fat bombs. They keep you from needing to eat. . . so, less expensive in the long run.(I shop Aldi's and Kroger mainly)
