Went to the doctor today, just for an annual woman check. She told me instead of walking 5 times a week for 30 minutes to shoot for 3 times a week for an hour. She said you burn 50% fat at 30 minutes, 75% fat at 45 min., and 95% at 60 minutes. So I guess I will do the 3x/week at 60 minutes on the old treadmill and see if that doesn't get things going. Feeling better, so might just start on Sunday. Saturday I'm going out to my mom's to shop for her and hang out.

You do burn fat the longer you do cardio, but it depends on your intensity. Sometimes it's better to do 30 minutes of high intensity than one hour of low intensity. If you really want to see some change in your body composition, add in some circuit training/strength training a few times a week too (on the days your not walking). There is some great home videos out there that are 30 minutes long and will kick your butt in to shape. Great job on exercising.
