I decided over a week ago to stop taking the Hydroxycut to give my body a break from it. But after the low weight loss that i have had the last two weigh in's i decided to go back on it. I am sorry, i know you guys said i didnt need them but i will keep taking them until i get to my goal. I will, however, take a break from them every so often to give my body a break. I do truly feel that they have helped me get this weight off. Thank you guys for your support over these last 4 months. You really dont know how much it means to me to have all the love, support, and encouragement.

RG, years ago i took hydroxcut to lose a lot of weight and it worked then and it has helped me this time. I am not going to say it will work for you but it did for me. As for jitters or burps, i have not had any issues with it. I quit taking it this time because i had been on it almost since day one of my lifestyle change and it was time to give my body a break. i endorse the product. for the first two weeks, i was hungry between my two meals but after that, i was good. All i can say is between reducing calories, carbs, and starting to exercise i have lost the 55lbs. So all i know to say is give it a try and if it doesnt work after 30 days stop taking it.

i do not stray from my food menu often so that helps. i drink a lot of water. I have a 6 hour window every day that i eat my two meals and after that no food only water and on the weekends, i drink tea sweetened with raw honey....NO SUGAR AT ALL IN ANYTHING

One thought Navymom. You and I have been doing this for about the same time period. We've both posted some big losses and some little ones. I'm pretty sure as I approach my goal, (the real one on my mind today is 185) the small losses will become the norm. I think when we have less to lose, we lose it more slowly. It may become a little frustrating. I will prepare myself for that eventuality. I guess what I'm saying is watch the trend. A 1 or 2 lb loss when taken as a percentage of what you have left to do, might be just as worthy of praise as a 4 or 5 lb drop. I'm a witness to your focus and commitment. IMHO, it's more than enough to finish this.

Thank you FTC, but may i ask what IMHO stands for?

Sorry. IMHO = in my humble opinion. My 17 year old boys think I should leave acronyms to the Twitter generation. They tell me "You're not good at it. Just stop."

In my humble opinion.

Nutrition with whole foods, low carbs, low saturated fats, etc., is the way to go. We have to have a cognitive paradigm shift as relates to how we thing about food. As we are about to eat something, we should hold it up and ask: "will this______ build me up or tear me down"?

Congratulations to you. One thing I have learned it to be very careful with diet pills. You will lose Alot of weight, but once you stop taking them you have to work harder for alittle bit to stay on track. But keep up the great work.

Well since i have learned so much about food and the stuff that is in it and about natural foods, i dont think i will go back to my old way of eating. I have really learned so much. i will stick to the line of food that i have been eating and slowly add healthy foods back. i will not eat the "junk" food again. I have learned what chocolates to eat if i have a craving for sweets or find something along those lines. i will not be back in this situation unless something happens medically that causes this. it wont be on my behalf.
