Its good that you are being transparent with yourself. I had a similar day on Sunday and have been debating weather to record it in my journal for my doctor to see. I am kinda ashamed at myself and my doctor wont like what I ate... But hey its better to be transparent with yourself so you know not to do it again. You did well by recording it

Good way to look at it.

Great that you recorded it. For me, its the difference between a 2 day slip vs. a 2 month slip.

Good work recognizing it...you can regroup.

Stupid emotions, who needs 'em? Dumb Data from ST:TNG, just didn't realize how good he had it! I'm all too familiar with where you're coming from, I would do a whole lot worse if I weren't confined to the house with just me and Lilly most days.

Trekkers, unite! Oh, I love Data and his cat. My favorite Star Trek episode of all time is "The Offspring."

Lady you're inspiring, because I have never tracked a binge. I have always been afraid of other people knowing what I ate and judging me-I admire your bravery. Keep working and this pound will fall right off! You got this in the bag girlie!

I did track this binge. How many people pour sugar on bread and butter? Egads. If you never have a dark secret to reveal, I can't snoop, now, can I? ;)

I have done that but it was sugar and cinnamon in bread and butter. I've also had peanut butter and nutella sandwiches.

That was the afternoon snack my grandmother made for me when I was a wee tyke! Of course, I was a skinny kid that spent all day running around the farm, helping with chores, swinging in the tree swing, and climbing Corn Mountain in the corn crib!

That sounds magical, kes. :)

To track....or not to track, whatever works best is an individual thing...I'm a tracker, that way I know what I need to do to offset the inevitable hi cal days, planned or unplanned :-). LID, please feel free to snoop, lol, I'm sure I could eat better and avoid a lot of "diet unfriendly" food and adult beverages....but a guy's got to live right?

EXCELLENT ATTITUDE!

Hope today that you took care of yourself emotionally. Not something to easily dismiss, as whatever it was, was important enough to impact you in that way. Finding our balance involves being thoughtful and introspective, learning to "observe" our emotions and feel them rather than to "feed" them in passivity and surrender. Take care of you. j
