Just couldn't get into eating today. The weather is expected to be cooler tomorrow and Saturday, so maybe my appetite will return then. I was, however, "up" for making some more Fat Bombs, so I looked up a recipe for a 3-layer chocolate-peanut butter one. I'd read through it last night, and could not get the Algebra of the peanut butter layer to work out in my head. Cue Tom Waits, singing "Volume, volume." So, I "unvented" -- to use the late, great Elizabeth Zimmermann's term -- my own recipe. I also left out the sweetener, because a) lately, sweetened stuff has, for the most part, tasted too sweet and, b) sucralose has been known to cause some mighty nasty issues, which is why I don't buy the stuff.


Since I'm trying out an earlier bedtime schedule, I gotta sign off here.
