Just a quickie to let anyone wondering if I fell off the edge that I am indeed okay.
The Grand Canyon trip was a huge success. If I ever take the time to learn how to post a pic I can document the fact that I climbed a MOUNTAIN -it's only 1500 ft high but they call them mountains in Sedona AND I hiked partly down the Bright Angel Trail in a roaring snow storm AND I walked to the edge of the Canyon for miles and miles AND I saw Elk and I was followed by ghostly footsteps in the basement of the hotel.
We hiked for hours every day and I did not eat ANY sweets except for champagne and wine and I gained 3 lbs. Yep :(
My dental problem persists-the pain was untenable this last week that I had emergency root canal (FINALLY!) this am and scheduled oral surgery for tomorrow or maybe Wednesday. I am looking forward to putting all of it behind me....
So busy with work too-end of year is very busy for me, so haven't been around as much as I'd like and NEED. Been checking in on all my peeps though so no worries.

Email me, I will give you step by step instructions, I wanna see... I love Sedona. Haven't made it up to the GC yet, so did you have a turkey dinner? Kudos on climbing the mountain, I would have loved that but I went w/ kids and before I moved any muscle at all. Good luck w/ dental surgery I know you are pouting about it, but you do need it, and will be better after - you will soon forget the pain your in. Good Vibes to pull you through it!

Your trip sounds amazing! Can't wait to see pictures. I'm glad you're getting that dental work taken care of! I don't like to see my buddies in pain!

Cindy-no turkey-I think we had Italian food but I sent it back-overdone pasta is a great sin! Didn't even have dessert. We had the best Mexican food in Sedona-a place called Elote. They do not take reservations so you have to wait in line. So worth the wait best food in Sedona imho. Pouting is putting it mildly-you are too kind, I have been sulking and a cry-baby.

Surgery Part 1 is set for Friday. I am not really nervous-motivated to get it over with now. It's more aggravating trying to fit it in with crazy end of year schedule. Can we move Christmas to February?

Followed by ghostly footsteps?! And WHAT were you doing in the basement of the hotel? Glad you had a successful Grand Canyon trip. Sounds like it was fun. Hope you get those pics up. I'd love to see them! Good luck with the dental work stuff. I still haven't mustered up the courage to go to my dentist. :( ((((((HUGS))))))
