hardatworkapril's Journal, 06 October 2011

Well, I made a big mistake and weighed myself this morning on my scale at home and it says I gained 1.2 pound WTF?!?! I sure hope it's wrong, I can't gain weight I don't see how it is possible? I haven't cheated once, I workout in one way or another every day, I hope that my scale is wrong. I really want to be under the dreaded 200 mark and into onederlands this week, is that so much to ask, I am working my butt off to do it. I am going to try to do a longer harder workout today see if that helps and not get on my scale at home anymore!!

If your scale at home isn't your "official" weigh-in scale, than I wouldn't worry about it. Each scale is calibrated differently so you can get a different reading on each one. The type of flooring can also effect a scale.

Plus if you're building muscle, it weighs more than fat. Don't be discouraged because you NEED the muscle to work when you're at rest. Building muscle will keep the calories burning off!!! Don't forget to drink your water! (Half your body weight in ounces for weight loss)

Yeah April, I wouldn't worry about it. You do a lot of cardio, so that will be burning off a lot of calories w/o gaining too much muscle too fast. I bet it was just your scale. You work way to hard at your workouts for you to have gained anything.
