So I have been vegetarian for 6 days now; minus a tiny bite of fish on the first day that I tried without even thinking about it. So I guess only 5 days then haha. It has been an easy adjustment as far as what I have been eating, I just have a problem because someone will offer me to try something and I almost will without even thinking about it. I have been experimenting a lot in the kitchen and I have had some awesome success with vegetarian recipes. Homemade marinara, tzatziki wraps, and stuffed bell peppers galore! It really has been awesome. I've lost almost 5 pounds which has less to do with the vegetarianism and more to do with simply less calories. I do FEEL healthier though. I don't have an upset stomach or heartburn from greasy meat and all of that processed food I was eating before. I've just been using vegetarianism as an excuse to make more food at home but I could just as easily call myself a vegetarian and gorge on potato chips and m&ms. Its a choice the types of foods I consume and so far so good!
