Draglist's Journal, 27 February 2016

Woke at 214.4, up 3.2 from yesterday. I ate after working out last night and I also drank decaf tea and coffee until 5 am as I finalized a report that is due by Monday. Hit a new post holiday 2015 low last night and will get back to it! Also, started a new chapter in my journey in diet and life yesterday. I started undergoing a medical procedure that will require me to have steroids on a weekly basis. Yesterday was day one, so who knows what effect that will have. I was told it may make me ravenous. That's OK; I know what my calorie goals are. But how my body processes it all will be interesting to watch. Unfortunately, I also have to remove raw foods from my diet and that will take some adjustment. So my beloved raw nuts, salads, veggies, and fruits are out for a while at least. I can still eat cooked veggies and any fruit that I can peel, so I stocked up on bananas for my healthy ice cream treats. But I feel like a million bucks and I'm still able to do my workouts, so we will keep on rocking! UPDATE: Got a lot done around the house but no workout and no weigh in. Got back on target on calories.

Man, I would look at that as an opportunity bill. I know what you mean about fruits veggies and nuts though. That's nuts! (cough) Use those roids, man. Keep lifting and see what happens. It's not something I'd choose to do just because, but if the roids are prescribed for another reason? Yeah, baby, I'd be all over that. I have a friend who had to go on steroids for five months for her back. She claimed she put on muscle mass laying on the couch. :)

Would anabolics work? lol Man, I caught the bus from Rogers Pass (look it up, it's gorgeous) in the rocky mountains one time. I caught the bus at 5 pm and though I'd be home by midnight easy. The bus didn't take the route I thought it I wound up doing a layover in Revelstoke. Me and a friend. I was 16. He was 14. (We had a blast.) Anyway, the layover was until 2 PM the next day and we were broke so we spent the whole night sitting outside the bus station until it opened again. I could not get to sleep when I got home. I lay in bed and looked at the ceiling until midnight. I hope you do better. Sleep well.

hmmm...I wonder why no raw foods ??? that seems bizarre , that's the natural state of food before we went ahead and decided to process everything.

Had them on tablet form, unsuccessfully though. I don't know what your condition is but hopefully it gets better.
