Getting geared up for the new year, have signed up to log 1000 miles in my running journal, my 1/2 marathon is in September, and I even have a new montra for the new year...(got it from the preview of Kung Fu Panda 3)

If you only do what you can, you will never be more than you are.

First run of the year is Friday 1/1 at noon "Frozen Buns 5k"

I like both the K F Panda saying and your goal for the year. I am shooting for a 1/2 marathon this year as well. Your approx 20 miles per week is too much for my old body (at least right now). I am scheduled to taking a running form class in March and hope that will ease some of the joint soreness. I was feeling great (other than the knees) last year when I was hitting about 15-20/wk. The knees were the limiter. Good luck on the 5k. My first event this year is a 70 story stair climb.
