yesterday was not so great. Started off ok.. then mid afternoon, i was feeling hungry so I made a protein shake bc I was trying to save some carbs. I used Mootopia which is a low carb (6 net) low fat kinda milk and I regret it. The milk set off the worst flair up of IBS ever and I thought I was gonna die. Im mean I couldnt move for like 30 minutes. It was horrible. I know better but I thought I could just sneak this one in and be ok and I totally regret it. Welp, the whole episode knocked me on my ass so I didn't go to the gym. I did however slip out for a walk in the parking lot here and managed to meet my step goal. Not a total waste of a day in my book but not the day I had hoped for but today is a new day and hope that the atkins flu dont get me again... ONWARD !

Sdbai yes and it works great...and I know better. I just didnt have any and was trying to use my milk before it went bad and get some protein in .. I totally screwed up LOL

Oh I know how it is. I HATE almond milk, but I use it anyway because of the lack of carbs. Every now and then you just want some stinkin' milk! LOL

I love the 30 calorie unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I mix it some times with the walden farms mocha coffee creamer and I have the best hot cocoa in the world and it is all legal. I have also used the strawberry syrup good strawberry shake.

If I really feel hungry, I just have to eat something properly satisfying, else I will end up eating something I shouldn't.

Fat Free Mootopia is the only milk I buy. I drink 8oz first thing every morning for protien kick - HEB is a great store

Sometimes I just ice cold water with the protein shakes but then it tastes like I use water.

I mix my protein powder with black coffee. It tasted a little thin at first, but once I got used it it, I liked getting my protein and caffeine in one shot.

Soy is great in my book or almond milk.. but dont you just want the real thing once in a while... i obvi cant stomach it any more... insert sad face here... booo.. i told DH i was gonna buy some Atkins shakes or Designer Whey cartons just to have around just in case bc IBS is really no fun at all..

Almond milk is my go to. It's been so long since I've had cow's milk that almond milk tastes normal to me.

I am petrified of an IBS attack ever happeing again. Use to have them until i discovered the second love life of LCHF. Never looked back. Glad I found this post as I have been battling with Potassium supps. Into the bin they go.
