ddrudd , I'm trying hard to focus on what I look like, not how much I weigh. At first it was super hard to not be a slave to the scale but now I don't really think about it. I am going to weigh before we go on vacation ( we leave Sunday) just for reference. 💪 Redporch and YOH, thank you! I've been hitting the gym really hard and heavy. I got so discouraged during the holidays and finally figured out I was the only one that could change how I wanted to look. Hard work feels like it is paying off! 🩷💪

YOH, it took me a really long time to be be able to do proper pushups. My trainers helped with that! The issue we discussed yesterday has been okay today. I'm just realy tired.🩷

Diana something i noticed with my oatmeal experiment which is going on 4 weeks now is that i have less energy thruout the day but my workouts are better. Don’t know if that is related to higher carbs/lower protein or emotional distress but have noted it. I know you strive for 100+ grams of protein so probably not relevant just thought i would mention it to you.

Looking good 😊👍! I showed off my muscles too Ryan once to a few months back but he laughed and showed me he's so I never showed anyone else 🙁. I don't think I'll do that again don't think my ego would take it. I always think it's really impressive that you're able to go and keep working at it all the time. Just your continual progress I think is awesome of course the progress itself is cool too! But just the continuation and the diligence I think it's really cool.

Leah, I would love to see your progress! I love seeing your posts and following you. Please reconsider posting a picture! It's encouraging to see what others post and what comments you get. I joined this site many years ago and I stay because for the most part everyone is very supportive. I post pics for a couple of reasons. I use it like a journal and cuz I'll admit, I'm proud of how hard I've worked and where I'm at.

Well my friend, this is how it is going. I gained 7 pounds from my lowest weight of 132.8. I didnt record it because i was so mad at myself. I am coming to believe that it is not as simple as CICO but also the way my body utilizes certain macros efficiently or not. As of today i am 138.6 which is .6 over what i consider my high window (135-138). That being said, i am trying to add in more exercise to compensate which would be easier to do in nicer weather, thus the rainy, windy walks tho i would do them anyway most likely. I am also trying to wean myself from the daily weigh in but my OCD tendencies are not allowing more than a one day skip and even then it’s a fight. So funny, below 134 i fret as i think it is too small and over 136 i am nervous but telling myself 5’9 medium boned girl is perfectly healthy at higher numbers. The BD issue i guess. 60 years old and still obsessing over minutiae

YOH, We are a lot alike ! I too obsess which is why I stopped daily weigh ins. It just doesn't put me in a good head space. It was a difficult transition but now I don't think about it much.
When we go on vacation I will weigh for reference but don't think I'll take my scale. ( not definite yet) We will be gone 2 weeks. I usually am more lax on vacation but I still work out so we shall see how it goes.
I have no doubt you will bounce back! You've had alot of stress. Like you said, when weather improves you will get out more. I know the desire is there. You will get there and I'll be cheering you on!💪🩷
