Sandy701's Journal, 02 August 2011

Walked 3.1 miles again this AM. Temperature was low 80's but the humidity with no breeze just about did me in; I looked like a drowned rat by the time I got back (not that I REALLY know what a drowned rat looks like...). Time for extra salt on my food and/or broth!

Just think.... some people actually pay to sweat it out in a sauna. You walked yours out. Great job on continuing and not letting a wee bit of warm weather deter you. Much love.

Sandy - I give you a lot of credit for what you are doing. We are supposed to have another 100 degree day tomorrow and I'm not out in it any more than I have to. By the way, I happened to notice Heinz reduced sugar ketchup on your menu. Of all the things to miss, the other day I was craving ketchup! I tried the Heinz and it wasn't too bad.

Well Paula...I always forget (thankfully) exactly how many places can let out the sweat in a body's attempt to cool itself. Pretty amazing, this human body creation.

Buffy, that Heinz variety is pretty good. When I first gave it to DH, he was hard-pressed to tell the difference between it and "full-sugar" ketchup. Try not to wilt in that heat tomorrow; 100 degrees is brutal!
